Located on the north shore of Lake Garda, Arco owes its name to the shape that the ancient houses and historic buildings create by leaning against the steep cliffs. The town came to life here at the foot of these walls. The southernmost town of Trentino South Tyrol, it is known as a "natural clinic": with its clean air, mild climate, and Mediterranean gardens, it has always been a mecca for regeneration and well-being.
In Arco, scenic splendour and architectural beauty merge and enhance each other. An iconic symbol is the medieval castle that dominates the city from above rising to an altitude of 273 m. Crossing a path that starts between the olive trees, you reach the majestic fortress perched on a rock. Famous as the "home of sports climbers", Arco also preserves its authentic cultural heritage.
